Reputable companies in the jewellery and gem trade can receive selected stones on memo, sent without payment in advance. Write to us, and we will tell you whether your business qualifies.
What Is Memo?
Buying coloured stones from photographs alone is never ideal. Under a memo arrangement, we send the stones you have selected to your premises for an agreed period. You examine them in person, or present them to your own client, and pay only for the stones you decide to keep. The rest are returned to us.
Memo is a long-established practice of trust in the gem trade, and we offer it because we want lasting relationships with the businesses we supply. Each consignment is accompanied by a written memo agreement setting out the stones, their values and the return date.

Who Qualifies
Memo terms are offered to established, reputable businesses. To help us review your application quickly, please be ready to share the following.

Your company name, address, website and the name and role of the person applying.

Proof of company registration and any trade licences or industry memberships you hold.

Two references from gem suppliers or trade partners you have worked with, and how long you have been trading.

The varieties, sizes and qualities you buy, typical volumes, and how often you expect to order.
Approval is at our discretion and is based on our assessment of each business. Memo limits, periods and shipping arrangements are agreed individually and confirmed in writing.
