1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the nature of our products, returns are accepted under specific conditions:

A. Food & Consumable Products

  • For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or partially used packages.

  • Returns will only be accepted if:

    • The product was delivered damaged.

    • The wrong product was shipped.

    • The product is past its expiration date upon arrival.

  • All claims must be supported with clear photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery.

B. Non-Consumable Products

  • Returns will be accepted if:

    • The product arrives damaged.

    • The wrong item was shipped.

    • There is a manufacturing defect.

  • Products must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 14 days of delivery.

2. Return Process

  1. Contact Us First – Email info@srilankafresh.com within the specified time frame (48 hours for consumables, 14 days for none comsuable items) with:

    • Order number.

    • Description of the issue.

    • Photos or videos showing the problem.

  2. Approval & Instructions – If your return is approved, we will provide you with the return address in Sri Lanka and instructions for safe packaging.

  3. Shipping Costs

    • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damage, defect), we will cover return shipping costs.

    • For all other cases, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.


3. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned product is received and inspected.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.

  • In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund, depending on customer preference.


4. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

  • Opened or used food products.

  • Products returned without prior authorization.

  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling.

  • Clearance or discounted items (unless defective upon arrival).


5. Customs & Import Duties

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that our products are permitted for import into their country.

  • Refunds will not be issued for orders rejected or destroyed by customs due to import restrictions or unpaid duties/taxes.
